Per serving: 17 g carbohydrate, 125 calories

Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe bananas, peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen

  • 3 Tbsp cocoa powder

Directions

Peel the bananas, cut them into chunks, and freeze until solid. Place the frozen banana pieces in a food processor and blend, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides, until the mixture is smooth and resembles soft-serve ice cream (this may take a few minutes).

Add the cocoa powder and blend again until very smooth and evenly combined.

Serve immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for about 1 hour for a firmer, scoopable texture.
